Pretty Empowered

Pretty Empowered is our newest signature program that replaced "All Girls Rock" and has become an annual event our chapter hosts. The purpose of Pretty Empowered is an event geared towards dismantling structural inequalities and injustices facing women through open discussions, informative games, and speakers. Pretty Empowered serves as a pillar for gender equality for women. It is vital that we value, protect, and uplift women in order to break the faltered political, social, economic, and health norms due to gender equality. 

 

The uniqueness and greatness of Pretty Empowered lies in its purpose to uplift and encourage phenomenal and influential women. As a chapter we want to continue to empower women and bring light to all their hard work.

Mr. Pink Panther

Mr. Pink Panther Pageant provides male, Miami University students an opportunity to showcase their talent, charm and class to earn contributions from their admirers.

Contestants also enact a date scene where they create the perfect date with a Lambda Mu Chapter member as the girl of their dreams. The pageant winner receives a scholarship, a date with his Lambda Mu dream-girl and the coveted title of Mr Pink Panther. Proceeds from the event are donated to local and international organizations to enable service in the areas of Educational Enrichment, Health Promotion, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership and Global Impact.

AKADEMICS

During fall and spring semester finals week, we hold study tables for students to study and prepare for finals week. We provide quiet and study friendly rooms, healthy snacks, and an uplifting environment for students.

Academics are very important to our organization and we pride ourselves of holding that standard and encouraging our campus to take the time to do well on finals.
